The client requested we aim to create an open plan living kitchen dining environment leading to the exterior grounds. The creation of a bright environment and a room to use in winter and summer months. The house character was followed through into the new extension by the usage of onsite bespoke sand cement mouldings to the exterior to match through on the house mouldings. The design included for additional butler’s pantry plus utility area leading off the new kitchen area. The facility to access the rear gardens through utility plus through bespoke aluminium bi folding doors to rear and side elevations. The bi folding doors bringing the outside into the lounge area of the new extension. The exterior canopy providing shading and shelter to the patio area. The kitchen was a bespoke individual sized hand painted kitchen designed around the clients’ requirements. The island included for casual breakfast style eating and coffee drinking with entertainment provided by a wall mounted TV and sound system. Heating provided through underfloor plus Gas fire. The inclusion of a bespoke aluminium skylight in a soft grey powder coat finish including self-cleaning glazing provided the additional light into the area. The exterior grounds landscaping to allow summer evening barbecuing and casual seating dining experiences. Shading and privacy provided for curtains and roller blinds.
