The client approached us to look at an existing derelict home which had been empty for some time with the view to purchase and fully renovate. Working closely with the Architect and Interior designer we achieved a truly magnificent home with the highest level of finishes and workmanship. The existing roof tiles where completely replaced along with new chimney stacks. The matching of new roof tiles and bricks provided a challenge and through our network of contacts in the trade we found very well-matched solutions. The interior of the house was completely stripped back to the bare walls with floors excavated and removed. The internal works provided further challenges as walls required underpinning and floors excavated removed to allow works to be carried out. The home included a full new re-wire and heating system upgrade as to M/E instructions. Interior finishes were to the highest standard and provided some high-quality workmanship through our tiling, decoration and woodworking services. The additional of a new bespoke hardwood Orangery provided the dining space directly off the kitchen allowing for further connection to the expansive gardens and patio for outside entertainment. The Orangery design had high level window glazing to create elevated light without the need for a glazed skylight. The ceiling was edged with a bespoke cornice detail to disguise the curtains and blinds. This home excels a high level of luxury and modern day living.
